A YOUNG farmers group has raised more than £10,000 for charity after they walked the Wicklow Way last week.

Cornwall YFC members took part in their annual WotNot Challenge, titled 'Edyvean's Expedition', from April 8 until April 12 and walked 85 miles across Ireland, from Clonegal to Dublin.

The challenge was to raise money for The Sensory Trust, which helps disadvantaged people connect with nature, and The Sunrise Appeal, which raises money for the clinical oncology department in Truro.

So far, the expedition has raised an incredible £10,776. If you would like to donate, click here

On April 7, 50 members of Cornwall YFC headed to Ireland, some flying and others taking the kit on a ferry. They spent four nights along the route and stopped at Coollattin Golf Club, Woodenbridge Hotel, Lynhams Hotel and Johnnie Foxes.
